To Eliminate a Mockingbird Evil Triumphs When Excellent Male Do Nothing

“Evil Triumphs when good males do nothing”- Edmund Burke In many battles in between great and evil, the victory does not always go to the side that has the most significant numbers. There are numerous examples in the Bible and in history where the side that was fighting for God’s method would win even though the odds were stacked against them. Many times the only reason evil wins is due to the fact that great males are not going to stand up and defend what is right because when good males do nothing, absolutely nothing great gets done. Like if an individual remains in a jury of the court, and they don’t speak out. The found guilty goes complimentary, and now out to dedicate more criminal activities.

Or if an individual is escaping from something with another individual, the other one falls and they don’t return and get him/her and leave him/her behind, and something bad occurs to the other person,(i. e. Death. Damaged arm, leg, and so on.) If a person is part of the defense of the court, and they do not speak out, the convict goes complimentary, and now out to devote more crimes, I might not believe of any examples from the book besides if Tom got founded guilty not guilty and he went and raped another woman, however considering that Mayella was not actually raped, but instead beaten by her daddy, so that was not real.

So instead of a book example, considering that I could not think of one, I considered a real life example. I considered the Casey Anthony trial. Because no one spoke up about the criminal offense. She was convicted innocent. Somebody had to have known something, either to prove her innocence or to prove her guilty. Or it could be k=like this, nobody spoke up to show tom’s innocence so wicked triumphed and won by convicting tom If a person is fleing from something with another individual, the other one falls and they do not go back and get him/her and leave him/her behind, and something bad occurs to the other person.

For this I thought of two examples, when Jem and scout are going through the Radley’s fence and Jem’s trousers get hung on the fence. Fortunately nothing too bad took place, as the trousers were returned. Something might have gone wrong and Jem would have been seriously harmed. The other example that I thought about was towards completion of the book when Jem and Scout are strolling house from the play and Jem gets attacked by Mr. Ewell. Given that scout falls and can not get up (Life Alert! Jem is attacked and tossed on the ground in outcome, breaking his arm. In conclusion, There are numerous examples in history where the side that was fighting for properly would win although the odds were stacked against them. Sometimes the only factor evil wins is due to the fact that good guys are not willing to stand up and fight for what is right because when excellent males not do anything, nothing great gets done -Robert Tucker
