The father of Juliet invites Paris to a party in his house, so he could meet Juliet. The servant of the Capulet family is sent to invite the guests, but he can’t read the list and asks Romeo to help him. (Bevington, 88-109) Benvolio convinces Romeo to go to the party, so he could meet more women and forget about Rosaline. When Romeo and Juliet saw each other they fall in love. Tybalt is Juliet’s cousin and he is very mad at Romeo. Then, Romeo goes to visit Friar Lawrence and tells him that now he loves Juliet.

(Asimov 112-120)Friar Lawrence is a Franciscan Monk. Soon, Friar Lawrence marries Romeo and Juliet. Then, Romeo kills Tybalt in revenge because he killed his friend Mercutio. Romeo hides and he is very sad because he wants to be with Juliet. Also Juliet is very sad and she goes to visit Friar Lawrence and tells him that she wants to be death. Friar Lawrence tells Juliet about a liquor she can take to fake death.(Kerr P.254-261) Juliet agrees with the plan, during which she is going to be placed in the Capulet tomb and when she wakes, Romeo was going to be there waiting for her.

Juliet is happy because she is not going to get marry with Paris and instead she is going to fake death and then run away with Romeo. Romeo didn’t know anything about this plan. He goes to Juliet’s tomb and meets Paris, they fight and Paris forces Romeo to kill him. Then, Romeo drinks a poison and dies. Juliet then awakes and saw Romeo that is death and also she kills herself. This tragedy made both families make peace. and swear to never fight again.Romeo and Juliet’s love also led them to get married.

But this marriage was not normal; it was a secret marriage, where only four people knew about it. These four people were Romeo, Juliet, Juliet’s Nurse, and Friar Lawrence. This made it even harder for the both of them, as they loved each other so much, but they weren’t able to express this love around any others. It made it very hard for Juliet when Romeo was banished for killing Tybalt, because all of the Capulets thought that she was depressed because Tybalt was killed, but she was really depressed because of Romeo’s banishment. (Krims P.101-119) It later becomes even worse for Juliet, when County Paris is to marry her.

Juliet doesn’t want to marry Paris, because she is already married to Romeo, and this would be against her beliefs. So Juliet had Friar Lawrence come up with an ingenious plan to get her back with Romeo. Juliet took a potion to make her seem dead, and she would wake up after about 48 hours, to see Romeo’s face.ConclusionIn conclusion, I believe that the story of Romeo and Juliet is a story of Love, Conflict, and Suicide.
